On November 5, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. With the theme "New Era, Shared Future", this year's CIIE featured an exhibition area exceeding 420,000 square meters, with participation from 152 countries, regions, and international organizations, including 297 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders.
Chairman of the Board Wang Yuetao personally led the company's delegation, with all business lines making concerted efforts and successfully signing five crude oil cooperation agreements.
"Hi, I'm Huabao!" At the AI interaction area of the exhibition stand, the company's cartoon character "Huabao" attracted the attention of visitors, and many stopped to take photos within the photo frame as a memento. Another highlight of this year's stand was the digital twin 3D visualization platform, based on the Unreal Engine, which offered an immersive display of the company's integrated industrial chain and value chain development, particularly showcasing the production status of overseas oil and gas field projects. This brought the "mysterious" oil and gas closer to the audience in a more approachable and engaging way.
This year, the company's stand was themed "New Age, New Voyage", highly aligning with the CIIE's theme of "New Era, Shared Future". In terms of content, on one hand, it highlighted the deep integration of new productive forces with the traditional oil and gas industry, using a miniature landscape of the EBS Oilfield project combined with animations of Iraq's longest horizontal well and the first dual-branch horizontal well cross-section, presenting a three-dimensional display of the company's comprehensive technological strengths. On the other hand, it invited partners such as the UK's Silixa, France's Franlab and Faure Herman to jointly present world-leading technological innovations, including "infrared gas monitoring and warning" systems, fiber-optic well logging for oil and gas fields, three-dimensional geological modeling, and precise oil measurement. Dedicated personnel were arranged to explain these innovations to visiting guests, reflecting the company's determination and achievements in sharing and co-creating the future with various partners.
At this CIIE, the company specially invited Hadi, Assistant Operations Supervisor of the Production Management Department at the Ahdeb Oilfield Project in Iraq, and Kang Kai, a young engineer at the EBS Oilfield Project and the first Iraqi student to study in China, to join the stand and share their experiences. Combining their personal stories, they shared with visiting leaders, guests, and media ZhenHua Oil's achievements in cultivating the Iraqi market, improving people's livelihood and well-being, and promoting win-win development.
Each CIIE is a "two-way journey" between China and the world, as well as a vivid practice for ZhenHua Oil to share the opportunities of the Chinese market and the future of development with its partners. In this new age and new voyage, the company will continue to deepen innovation cooperation, build an innovation engine, and while promoting in-depth and pragmatic international energy cooperation along the "Belt and Road", it will continue to scale new heights in high-quality oil and gas development.
